Good day, everyone! My health hasn’t been getting any better, and I’ve been dealing with a serious headache today. I honestly haven’t been feeling like myself, and the restlessness is making it difficult to just lie down and get some proper sleep. But even with all that going on, I still can’t bring myself to completely abandon gaming. 😂 Gaming has become one of those things that helps me relax, and even if I can’t play for a long time, I still want to share something with you guys. After all, feeling unwell shouldn’t stop me from bringing you good content, even if it’s just a short gameplay session. Since I wasn’t really in the best condition to spend hours playing, I decided to go for something simple and less demanding in Blood Strike. That was how I ended up playing Free For All. For those who are familiar with the mode, you already know what it’s all about. There’s no need to worry too much about complicated strategies, coordinating with teammates, or carefully planning every move. You simply pick your favourite gun, enter the battlefield, and start shooting. The action is almost constant because players can respawn in different locations across the map, and sometimes, you might even find an enemy appearing right behind you. One moment, you’re chasing someone, and the next, you’re the one being chased. 😂
That unpredictable nature of Free For All is what makes it interesting. You can be having a good run, taking down enemies one after another, and suddenly find yourself getting shot from a direction you least expected. There’s barely any time to relax because the next fight could begin immediately after you respawn. Of course, your aim, movement, and reaction time still matter, but compared to some of the more tactical modes in Blood Strike, Free For All feels much more straightforward. You don’t have to think too deeply about every encounter. Just grab a gun, keep moving, and try to get as many eliminations as possible. For someone who wasn’t feeling well and didn’t want to spend too much time gaming, it seemed like the perfect mode for the day. However, one thing that continues to frustrate me whenever I play Blood Strike is the server situation. As an African player, the lack of a dedicated African server remains a major issue for me. The connection problems can make some gunfights feel unnecessarily difficult. There are times when I shoot at an enemy and it seems like my bullets aren’t registering properly, even when I’m sure my aim is on target. Then, when the situation is reversed and an enemy starts shooting at me, things can become even more frustrating. I might run behind a container or another object for cover, thinking I’ve escaped the line of fire, only to find out that the enemy’s shots are still registering on me. Before I know it, I’m knocked down or eliminated.
Moments like that can really take away from the enjoyment of the game because you start wondering whether you lost the gunfight because of your own mistakes or because of the connection. There’s nothing more annoying than doing your best to survive an encounter, only to feel like the game didn’t respond the way it should have. Hopefully, the server situation improves in the future because better connectivity would make the experience much more enjoyable for players in Africa. Despite the headache, the restlessness, and the few frustrating moments in the game, I still enjoyed my short session today. I didn’t play for as long as I normally would, but at least I got to relax a little, enjoy some Free For All action, and create something to share with you all. Sometimes, it’s not about how long you play or how many matches you complete; it’s simply about finding a little enjoyment in the middle of a difficult day.
