Greetings!
What can only change the mind of another person or people is our good character, behaviour and dealings with them. When people who do not believe in the word would be acting somehow against us, it's then we can change them from their bad ways of lives to a good one through our good characters, behaviour and having a good dealings with them.
According to Bro. Eli Soriano, no one parent will hate his or child as instinct only dictates parents to love their child as can be seen in God who would not love the good ones alone but even the evil ones and that's why we see him raining on both the bad and the good people.
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
-- Matthew 7:11
Here in the above scripture, Jesus was telling us that if the earthly father who might be evil can give unto his children what's good, how much God himself who is our good and heavenly father.
In conclusion, no one parent according to Bro. Eli Soriano would hate his child or children and if there's such, the hated person should do well to use his or her good character to change his or her parents.
