DEATH RACE
The race They say is not for the swift
But what is sweet in the race when the finish line has no gift?
A reason why legs had to stand on Their feet
In other to run from the beginning so that ends can meet
The way of Life is a Rat race; You're either a living Rat or a dead meat
This way of Life race seemeth right but the end thereof is a death pit
The Hardworking is left alive walking but the Lazy will be left dead in His living room
A pair of a single choice to be made, either to be dead or to be with the bread, either to be a bloom or be the doom
Life They say is a race against time
Maybe that's why They run ahead time
In Life They say You must have a good time
Maybe that's the reason They buy time ahead time
Pray You don't be a prey and pray Your preyer don't get an answered prayer
Slay in other not to be the slay, slay the slay before the slayer becomes Your slayer
Running with the gun and running ahead can make You a goner
Whereas, running with the gun and running behind can get You gunned by the gunner
It's a Life where You run too fast and run to death
You run too slow and slowly lose Your breath
And when You don't run at all, You don't get anything at all
You try to run and get paralyzed through the fails and fall
Life is a death race
And lives are lost in the death maze
Remember that the finish line is beginning of a new race
Life is a death race and the death of life is when You cease to run the life race.
