Hello to the people of this chaotically beautiful. It is a brand new, fresh day, and funny enough, we will not be seeing it ever again. However, there are things which will repeat on daily basis: nations launching missiles on one another; climate change killing hundreds of thousands of people; so-called rigging of the world cup; and the list goes on and on, all you have to do is think negatively. Unfortunately, my day start with a newspaper. To the influencers, it may seem impressive or finest routine, yet it is the worst of all kind. Rather than having a positive start for day, I come to know that 99%, as per news, of world is ducked up. Great isn't it?
Not Happening
Have you ever watched doraemon? A robot from the 22nd century who travels back and live with a clumsy indivudal - Nobita Nobi. The male cat i.e. doraemon possesses tons of highly advanced gadgets. Some may sound impossible to achieve, however with the advancement of modern day time, I believe everything is possible. Moving forward, in many of its episodes or especially movies, we see the intelligent robots taking over the world. Nowadays, this debate - with the question of who will win - has been going since the excessive use and demand of artificial intelligence. Alas! It seems like we will not be getting answer regarding this. Because, we, human beings, are in a race of death.
Not a usual race
Here is the fun part: this is not a usual race. Because, in this competition, there is no winner or loser. We all will turn into dust sooner or later, our becoming is going to become unbecoming. Whether you like it or not, because no one is asking you.
Enough with the bragging, let us be serious now. Though, it will not be having any sort of impact.
I want to see the first bomb drop, the second can hit my house. - Tarazkp
As majority of us already know that the warmongers - with context to the US and Iran - are so back. Today counts as day three, after the MoU gave us a temporary halt. Though, in international politics, such developments take months even years to resolve, but the problem is - we do not have the time. Everyday hundreds of bombs are being dropped on one another, and theoratically we all are concerned. But practically, we will only be concerned once those notrious weapons hit us: physically or economically.
Surge in death reapers
Just in June, we saw a severe El Nina's rise, and according to the recent reports this is going to extend till September or October. Throughout the world, heatwave has killed thousands of innocent people. But, it is all okay. There is no need to rush, because the society has normalized such killings. Since Covid-19, we all have been seeing deaths. There might be a surge in death reapers jobs. At least, some part of the world is seeing unemployment getting a fix. Whatsover, then started the Russia-Ukraine war: the purpose is the piece of land and so-called nationalistic ego. With this jingoism still going on, we saw another war in the Middle East. For the Middle East, I say: it is always in the middle of confrontation. Most recently, the opposite poles of the same magnet - the US and Iran - are in play. They can fight with each other; but cannot come to the negotiations until forced.
A Realist
Brendan Simms, in his book "The Return of the Great Powers", writes military might is valued more than heft, law or morality. Decisions are driven by geopolitical logic and not economic logic anymore. As the post-Cold War era began with a new theory in the town: Geo-economy. Hence, he believes "geopolitics may kill us before climate change does".
States pursue strategies but it is humans that bear the consequence.
States pursue strategies, draw maps, negotiate ceasefire, impost santions, and ironically, both sides celebrate victories. But none of these words stop a mother from losing her child, a family becoming refugees or a person wondering whether I have enough for tomorrow's grocery or not. Countries may calculate gains in territory, influence and deterrence. Human beings calculate losses in lives, memories and futures. How idealistic! History remembers the decisions of leaders; while ordinary people are left to live with their consequences.

But none of these words stop a mother from losing her child, a family from becoming refugees, or an ordinary person from wondering whether tomorrow's salary will still buy groceries. Countries may calculate gains in territory, influence and deterrence. Human beings calculate losses in lives, memories and futures. To the Mars
Then there is another irony of our times. We are racing to build data centres that will power artificial intelligence and do all the beneficiary chores. Yet recent findings sugeest these facilities emit far more carbon dioxide than estimated. Without serious efforts to decarbonize electricity grids, their emissions are expected to more than double by 2030. So, what benefit is there to invest billions in making machines smarter? Because, we are doing it at the cost of planet. Perhaps future, if there is any, will indeed be intelligent. It is unfortunate that it may not remain habitable enough. But, it is all okay. A one time trillionaire is making a way towards MARS!
Mental Health Day
Yesterday, I came across several articles about MENTAL HEALTH DAY on this platform. Every single one of them made valid points. They spoke about therapy, emotional well being, self-care and everyone's right to live a healthier life. It brought joy to my face that we all accept mental health as a serious concern. Otherwise, previously or maybe today as well, people take mental health issues - depression, anxiety - as some sort of comedy. So, I have lots of respect for all of them, and the contest holders for raising genuine concers. But, being a human, I could not help asking myself questions: what good is individual healing when the world is falling apart? How do you meditate through the horrific sound of air raid sirens? How do you live when this inflation has made living a luxury? How do you tell an unemployed father, a displaced family or someone watching their hometown disappear under floodwaters that everything will be okay? Or will we share another fact with them? Mental health does not exist in isolation. Wars, climate change, economic instability and political decisions directly or indirectly shape the state of our minds long before we realize it. Sometimes, the greatest threat to our mental health is not within us; rather it is the world we have collectively built around us.
We often say the future belongs to us. Looking around, I am beginning to wonder whether we still belong to the future.
In the end, I guess, I should take a break from newspaper reading. Better be ignorant than worried. Hehehe, just kidding!

What are your thoughts about it?
Note: Picture is taken by me. It is in contrast to the writing, expressing how this world is full of colors. And the problem resides with us beings.
Also, if you like do vote Ecency's proposal. Or, you can help by using it as a beneficiary of 2-3%. Because even a drop matters.
