Twentieth Chess960 Hivechess Tournament Results

Hello everyone.
20th edition was a small milestone of Chess960 Tournaments on hive. Getting closer to the two year mark since the first edition. More people showed up this time and we also got new winner.

I was thinking faster time control then this time for the August edition but it does not have to be the case. If you have any preference for the time control comment.

Winner of the July edition of Chess960 is @mikmai (Lavidacontinua123). Second win this year in the tournament. Seven wins in a row were good enough for the first place

Runner-up was @maestroask (IM Odnoobraz). Quite close to the first place with only 3 points behind. Third win in a row must wait for the next time. No loss in 12 games this time.

Same as previous tournament I was fourth @sammy00 (migmag) and @hazem91 (hazem91tn). We manage to hold that 4th and 5th position.

Biggest upset reward goes to @rafaelaquino (ajedrezclub2t). Nice win against @mikmai (Lavidacontinua123) with elo difference of 461.
Good use of a bishops in this Chess960 starting position.
