Seventeenth Chess960 Hivechess Tournament Results

Hello everyone.
April edition is behind us with yet again different winner. 4 rounds this year with each having new champion. Lets see how May edition will play out.

I think we should move start of the tournament a bit earlier. It should be 20 00 or 19 00 CEST. If you have any preferable time slot between these two comment bellow.

Since participation was lower this round 15 Hive will be used in reward pot for the May edition. 65 Hive in total for the 18th Chess960 Hivechess Tournament.

I was not able to participate but I noticed some problems while try to reach the tournament. Was that case with any off you or it was just bad internet connection?

Top 5 of the Tournament

Winner of the March edition is @mikmai (Lavidacontinua123). First place with seven wins out of seven games. First time competing in Chess960 Tournament as well. Welcome and congratulations.

Second place goes to @schamangerbert (HerbyW). Three wins to finish the tournament strong. Congratulations.

Third place this round is @teooo (teoooForHive). If I recall correctly first time on the podium in Chess960 Tournament. Congratulations.

Fourth place is @lighteye (lighteye) and fifth place @rodrook (RDcast).

Biggest upset reward goes to @rodrook (RDcast) for his win against @teooo (teoooForHive. @rodrook had two wins with higher elo difference but it was due to time out so this is the one that counts. Nothing change as @rodrook pulled biggest upsets this round.

Top 10 ranked players get 2 Hive each.
Top 5 players rewards : First place 8 Hive, second place 6 Hive, third place 4 Hive, fourth place 2 Hive, fifth place 1 Hive. (again I forgot to add reward for the fifth place in announcement post).
Players from 11th to 15th place get 1 Hive each.

Top 3 Under 1300 Elo players will get 1 Hive each
1 Hive for biggest upset of the tournament - @rodrook (RDcast).
Additional 1 Hive for all wins - at least 7 games played - @mikmai (Lavidacontinua123).
