Fear is usually generated when someone sits without doing anything. The only way to overcome fears is by acting towards what you fear most. Fear of the unknown has been the major reason some people are grounded without making moves. Believe me, what you think that you are afraid of is only created in your imagination and you are giving life to it by refusing to take actions.

Your fears will continue to appear bigger until you step out to confront them with actions. You can only overcome fear when you constantly do what you have been afraid of doing. If you can bring your imagination under control and focus on the actions you want to take, you will be surprised how small your fears are. This is because, fears are also birthed in the imagination, just as ideas are birthed there - so you need to choose the line of imagination to trail.

One thing that fear does to someone is to limit their actions and advancements by presenting them with false evidences why they should not take that particular action.

Risks and fear are mutually exclusive. If you must ward off fear, then be prepared to take risks. There is not risk that you want to take that someone else has not succeeded in similar risk before, so why not you? Even if someone has not succeeded in that particular risk, then you can be the first person to do that - but by all means, do not let your fear dictate your actions/inactions.

The more you take risks, the more you discover that what you have been fearing all these while is only in your head. Most times, what affects people's advancement is not an external force from any place but the fear that resides within them. Not until you fight that fear, it will keep getting more fierce.

Some people greatly fear the result of what their actions will be. I tell you this; as long as you have made a move, the result will be part of your learning process. Even if it did not yield positive result at the initial trial, it will serve as a lesson for better trials, so why not risk it and take the initial trial? Remember this; you make advancements by taking risks.
