Some years back, I came across a particular technology that caught my attention and this prompted me to learn more about it. It also spurred me into the actions of learning a skill related to it which changed my life positively. You see how technology can create the desire within you to take actions. You will agree with me that before this era, a lot of us did not know anything about mobile telephony because there were not much of it around. But now, we have advanced and complex mobile devices and some people have even gone into mobile app dev, all thanks to the waves of technology. Technology keeps getting advanced and complex on a daily basis, but it is now left for you to flow with the trend.

One of the greatest motivations of technology in this present time is easy access to information and knowledge. This has been enabled by the technology of Internet, so much that right from our devices (mobile, desktop, etc) we can tap into vast resource materials in so many formats and can learn new things. Before now, if you want to get information, you would go to the library and start to flip through books. Of course, this can be de-motivating and tiring - no wonder the level of knowledge in that era is nothing compared to what we have now. At the moment, any knowledge you want to achieve or information you want to have, with just some clicks, you can get them. If this is not motivating, I wonder what it is.
I remember when I was in secondary schools many years ago, there was this particular assignment that we were given. It looked so difficult and complex that we had to hop from library to library and to other facilities to look for textbooks that can point us towards doing it. We spent about 3 days on the assignment and we got really tired. At the end, we could only do the much we could find on textbooks. Fast-forward to this era; after many years, one of our family friend's kid who is in secondary school was given the same assignment. Adorably, in just few minutes of searching the web, I was able to help him do the assessment and he learnt it well and was happy. The same assignment that took me about 3 days during my time, but in this era it took less than 20 minutes. Technology at it.
You will agree with me that there is an ease that comes to you to undertake an action when you have technological aid. Take farming as an instance: before technological revolution, to perform farm activities will require heavy manual input which are very tiresome and laborious. In fact, the thought of farming was discouraging and the work was often reserved for the lower class in the society. However, with the advent of technology, a lot of things changed and farm machines came to ease the farming activities. Now farming can be fully mechanized and is now seen as a noble profession. In fact, one will be motivated and encouraged to go into mechanized agriculture - thanks to tech.
Another aspect that technology has provided motivation to a lot of people is through social mediarism. With the emergence of various social media technologies, the distance separating people all over the world is becoming shortened and the world has seen so much interconnection that it is now viewed as global village. At each time of the day, a lot of people are connected in various social media platforms, sharing ideas, innovations, or even working remotely. This has provided a lot of motivation to people, especially the young ones to do something worthwhile with their lives. Now you can see people picking up remote jobs, working as social media reps, etc, all because of the effect of technology.

Another angle we shall be looking at is other professional fields where technology has found a foothold. In fact, in so many areas of human endeavour; from medicine, to engineering, to biology, to a host of others, technology has found applications there, and helping professionals in those fields to produce better results. I was amazed when I read a report some years back where a robotic arm was used to perform a minimal invasive surgery. Even at this present time, other insane and mind-blowing feats are already achieved with the help of technology, making people motivated to undertake tasks in such fields. It is very common for some to be piqued to undertake a task with a newer and better method than being stuck with a monotonous, old, ancient way of doing it.
