There have been a lot of predicaments which is killing the progress and development in the societies we find ourselves. The societies we find ourselves is breaking down due to certain factors, Teenage Pregnancy is one of the factors. Teenage pregnancy is one of the major factors in our society's breaking down. Teenage pregnancy is really a Nuisance in society. There are causes and some ways to control the rapid increase in teenage pregnancy.
Poor parental control is one of the factors of teenage pregnancy in society. In society, most parents do not pay much attention to their children but are more focused on the work they do, which is a bad habit. In African homes, most adolescence does not share certain issues they are been bothered by because when they try to share, their parent does not let them bring it on board. As a parent, your child should be your friend, you must get close to your child so that you can monitor the child’s ways. You must take your time to listen to the child, especially the females, they get a lot of information from their peers which when not taken care of can lead to a disaster. Some of their peers influence them badly which can result in teenage pregnancy. This can be stopped when the child is properly monitored.
A broken home is one of the causes of teenage pregnancy. In fact, is one of the major causes of teenage pregnancy. A broken home is a situation where both parents are living in a separate place meaning they are divorced. This is really bad for the child; the reason is they are not enough to control the child since the child has been taken care of by one parent. In some cases, some parents are able to control the child and can rise a good upbringing for the child but in most cases, the child turns other ways. A broken home is really bad for the child most importantly the female child. We must put a stop to broken homes if we want to take good care of our children most importantly females.
Financial issues are another cause of teenage pregnancy in the society. Money is really a controlling agent in our lives. The reason is money can manipulate our ways of life. In the lives of an adolescent girl facing financial problems, she is going to find a way to curb herself by find herself someone to take care of her which results in teenage pregnancy because the person will also take advantage of the girl. As parents, we must take care of our wards because it is our duty to do so.
Peer pressure is one of the cankerworms which is causing teenage pregnancy in society. Most adolescence listens to their peers more than they listen to their parents, which is very bad because what if the peers she is listening to are influencing them badly? Being influenced by your friends is not easy to get rid of. Most girls listen to the advice of their peers, and they are being advised to take boyfriends so that they can be sponsored by the person. As a parent, you need to advise your child to understand that there is time for everything, this is the time to build a life (Career) by taking your education seriously. We must help our little ones to have a brighter life.
