Few movies are not just made for entertainment instead they carry a strong message or the current situation of the society that made us realise where we are going to. Hindi Medium is the same type of movies which is based on the current situation.

Now a days in India a new culture has started that everyone wants their kids to study English medium syllabus in bigger schools but at the same time School are taking the benefit of the situation. They are asking for donation and expensive fees for the admission which is not affordable for everyone. That's not all and school even takes interview of parents before the admission and if parents are according to their so-called policies then only they give go ahead for the admission. This movie is all about it.
Raj Batra who is rich businessman in Delhi and and live in Chandni Chowk with his wife and daughter. Although they both are studied in Hindi medium but like everyone in the society they also want their daughter to study in English medium school. So they decided to get the admission in a big school named "Delhi Grammar School" but school has a condition that they only give admission to students who live within 3 km distance from school so Raj along with his family shift to Vasant Vihar.
They try all the possible ways to get the admission but no luck and finally they give up and they finally decided that they will support government school to have better education and facilities. Raj donates an amount to one school and make all the facilities. Finally they get the admission of their daughter in govt school.
There are 5 songs in the film and out of all one song "Suit Suit" highly popular. This song is sung by Guru Randhava and a fantastic blockbuster song.
Music is given by Sachin-Jigar in the film and others songs are quite good.
Hindi Medium film is written and directed by Saket Chaudhary and undoubtedly he has done great work in the movie.

Film was released on 19 May 2017 in Hindi language only and its running time is 2 hours and 12 minutes. Cost of the movie is 23 crore Indian Rupees and its collected over 300 crore Indian rupees as box office collection which is huge amount and makes the film a blockbuster film.
As I already mentioned that this film is about the scenario related to our society and Irfan Khan is well know actor. He did great work in the film and you will enjoy his work for sure. Film story line so simple but nicely written which will make you stick to the screen.
