“Buddy Do You Have A Light?”😮
Careful my friends…. EVERYTHING is on Fire!😳
Silvertop was on his laptop early this morning, doing a little Crypto trading, and I started “Tasting” Smoke!😬
I walked outside to see thick visible smoke in the air!🙄
I checked the Weather app……….
“25+ Miles visibility……Perfectly Clear”
Hmmm………..🤔
“ChatGPT can you tell me exactly where all this smoke is coming from?”
“Silvertop……given that you live on five wooded acres, I’d take a quick look outside periodically—not because I think there’s a fire immediately near you, but simply because visible smoke can make it difficult to distinguish local smoke from distant smoke!
The biggest suspect: fires in the Fraser Canyon, B.C.
That’s important for you because the Fraser Canyon is essentially a huge smoke funnel leading toward the southwest. Environment Canada currently has an Orange-level air-quality warning for the Manning–Skagit Valley and Fraser Canyon regions because of wildfire smoke!”
It looks like Canada is the culprit, my friends Lol!🤣
Well at least “ Environmental Canada” has an up to date air- quality monitoring system!😇
I remember taking the third photo early this Spring, up at the logging clearcut on my road!😮
Phone calls started coming in from Abbotsford, British Columbia, to our local fire department! Canadian residents were worried that Sumas Mountain was on fire!😳
The Fire Engine in front of the American Flag in the next photo, was quickly dispatched to our road, to find the source of the fire and smoke!
One of Silvertop’s neighbors had “Gifted” me with some free firewood, along the side of the road!😇
I had my hearing protection on, chainsaw running, and I could still hear something big and powerful coming up fast from behind on our road!😳
Quickly this large Fire truck came to a stop next to Silvertop!😮
“Silvertop……. Do you know where the FIRE is?”…….one of the Fireman asked!🤔
“Guys, it’s just the loggers burning slash piles of garbage wood!”😇
“Well I hope they have their permits up to date, Canadian residents are worried about a potential Fire on Sumas Mountain!”🤔
Just as quickly, they sped uphill to “Talk” to the loggers!🙄
With potential rain in this weekends forecast, hopefully the Firefighters will be able to contain/control some of the massive forest fires, that seem to be burning everywhere out West!😇
As much as Silvertop is enjoying the dry Sunny weather, I’ll take a little rain this weekend!😅
Here’s a few photos of Silvertop’s Mountains taken on a much “Clearer” day!😇
Enjoy the weekend my friends, stay safe, till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊
