Happy #tbt Thursday
Two months ago my friends Jade, Leibys and I got together for a bite to eat and to catch up.
It has been more than 10 months since we saw each other because it was the University that kept us together and everything has been very atypical in this course.
Leibys and I always make something up and this time Jade joined us and we understood everything when she brought us up to speed.
While we were waiting for Jade we had ice cream in a cafe very close to the one of our final destination.
We went to Conta's empanadas, this has been our favorite place for a long time. They sell the best empanadas there, although lately we have been choosing their burgers more.
We even have our usual seats there.
We ordered some classic burgers. My friends accompanied them with smoothies and I preferred a lemon soda.
In the place the food was not the only protagonist, there we stalked and caught up for more than 2 hours. Each one made catharsis of even the most trivial situation. We let off steam and it was one of those magical moments where you feel listened to, valued and important. We did not minimize, each one starred in her own story.
There Jade told us that she would be traveling in a month and we were even planning a big farewell.
On the way out of the cafe, we sat for a while longer in the Park that is nearby. There we were giving the right conclusions to our little problems. We kept laughing and ended up making the craziest assumptions about the missing ends to our story.
After that day, each one returned to her life and a few weeks ago Jade moved to Brazil. In the end, without knowing it, that day was already his farewell, for x or y reasons the other exit was not made.
The day Jade wrote me that she was already flying to her new destination made me very nostalgic for the day we didn't live due to lack of planning and for the last one we got together.
It is very nice that she has embarked on a new journey and even more amazing that she has left beautiful footprints for that day and for all those we share together.
That day we didn't say a Goodbye to each other and it's better that way because what it meant was a See you soon.
No matter how many memories these footprints leave.

Hace dos meses mis amigas Jade, Leibys y yo nos juntamos para comer algo y ponernos al d铆a.
Hace m谩s de 10 meses que no nos ve铆amos porque era la Universidad la que nos manten铆a juntas y en este curso todo ha sido muy at铆pico.
Leibys y yo siempre inventamos algo y esta vez Jade se nos uni贸 y entendimos todo cuando nos puso al d铆a.
En lo que esper谩bamos a Jade tomamos helado en una cafeter铆a muy cerca a la de nuestro destino final.
Fuimos a Conta鈥檚 empanadas, desde hace mucho tiempo este es nuestro lugar favorito. All铆 venden las mejores empanadas, aunque 煤ltimamente nos decantemos m谩s por sus hamburguesas.
All铆 tenemos hasta nuestros asientos de siempre.
Nos pedimos unas hamburguesas cl谩sicas. Mis amigas las acompa帽aron con batidos y yo prefer铆 una gaseosa de lim贸n.
En el lugar la comida no era la 煤nica protagonista, all铆 stalkeamos y nos pusimos al d铆a por m谩s de 2 horas. Cada una hizo catarsis hasta de la situaci贸n m谩s trivial. Nos desahogamos y fue de esos momentos m谩gicos donde te sientes escuchada, valorada e importante. No minimizamos, cada una protagoniz贸 su propia historia.
All铆 Jade nos cont贸 que viajar铆a dentro de un mes y hasta est谩bamos agendando una despedida a lo grande.
A la salida de la cafeter铆a, nos sentamos por un rato m谩s en el Parque que est谩 cerca. All铆 le fuimos dando las debidas conclusiones a nuestros problemitas. Seguimos riendo y terminamos haciendo las suposiciones m谩s locas sobre los cabos que le faltaban a nuestra historia.
Despu茅s de ese d铆a, cada una volvi贸 a su vida y ya hace unas semanas que Jade se mud贸 a Brasil. Al final sin saberlo ese d铆a ya fue su despedida, por x o y motivos la otra salida no se hizo.
El d铆a que Jade me escribi贸 que ya estaba volando a su nuevo destino me dio mucha nostalgia por el d铆a que no vivimos por falta de planificaci贸n y por el 煤ltimo en el que nos juntamos.
Es muy bonito que haya emprendido un nuevo viaje y m谩s incre铆ble a煤n que haya dejado huellas bonitas por ese d铆a y por todos los que compartimos juntas.
Ese d铆a no nos dijimos un Adi贸s y mejor as铆 porque lo que signific贸 fue un Hasta pronto.
Por m谩s recuerdos que dejen estas huellas.
