Cryptic’s primary ability involves reducing enemy speed by 1; the moment it enters the battlefield, the speed of all opposing units drops by 1. This gives your units the chance to attack first and increases the likelihood of dodging enemy attacks. Additionally, Cryptic inflicts the "Blind" status on the entire opposing team. Being blinded increases the chance that enemy Melee and Ranged attacks will miss, providing a massive advantage in prolonged battles.

Regarding battlefield strategy, Cryptic works exceptionally well with Water teams, which typically rely on speed and control; its Blind and speed-reduction capabilities create perfect synergy, making fast units even more effective and increasing the odds of enemy attacks failing.
