Hello guys! How are you all doing? I hope it’s going well.

My today’s illustration, which was done in ibis paint x, is going to be kind of sad and depressing so I hope you guys don’t mind me asking, do you guys ever sometimes feel like you are a failure in your family or in your group of friends or in any place? I am guessing many of you do sometimes somewhere. Well so do I too buddy but in my case, I feel it everywhere on everything.

Why do I always feel like this? Why do I always think like this? Is it because of all these expectations? Why can’t I do it? What am I doing here? Why can’t I be like them? Maybe they feel the same way as I do? Do they? And the endless stream of questions that my head keeps spinning with. I sometimes feel like in a perfectly choreographic movie, I am the glitch.

I play the part where I wasn’t expected of. From my emotions to interactions to the ground I stand for everything. Like in a perfectly well-lit movie I am the failure that is making the movie a flop and I have to play that or everything will go down. I can’t and I am scared. Is that why I am failing? Is it because I am making excuse? Then why is getting hard to breathe when I try? Why does my handshake? Why am I terrified? Do I get to say anything? No, just play your part, just play your part, just play THE PART!

Smile in the part where you are expected, speak in the part where you have to even if you don’t want to, cry in the part when getting your advances, not for your pathetic winning, and play as the person you are supposed to be in the part, play your emotions to the parts where you are expected of. It is so suffocating. I can’t keep up.

I wanted to draw something to show how I feel and so I decided to draw this. I don’t know if I was able to express the art perfectly as I was feeling or not but this is all I could. So for now let me show you the process of this art.

image.png

As always, I first do a sketch.

image.png

Look guys what we have here! A glitch effect! Honestly, I actually did some research on how to do glitch effects and found many. So basically we use one side of the art’s border to be bright red and the other side of the border to be bright blue and then in some other art it is red and yellow and many others. I guess in my case it is pink and green.

Next I first a box and reshaped it then added a text. I decided to put a glitch effect on the text too. I don’t know if it turned out well or not. Please let me know.

Next, I colored the girl with a paint bucket.

image.png

Then I duplicated that layer and put it in an inverted effect.

image.png

Then for the background, I used a noisy background.

image.png

At last, put some digits in the background and put that layer in add effect. Then again duplicating that layer and reducing its opacity and moving its position to give the faded number look. There it is! The end!

I know the process of this illustration is really small and simple but I hope you guys like it. Thank you guys for reading this post today. For now bye, everyone until the next post, see ya all. Takecare!
