Hello everyone! How are you guys doing? I am hoping everything is going well with you guys.

Today my illustration is something magical. We all know whales don’t swim in the sky but imagination can make anything and everything possible. Our minds can imagine and create things without any limits and art is its catalyst to existence before our eyes. Hence guys feast your eyes with my imagination, in other words ‘welcome to my fantasy world’. First, let me start with a sketch of a whale. Honestly, this is my first time drawing a whale digitally. Also if you guys are wondering in which app I did this illustration, it’s the ibis paint x, now, the whale sketch is shown below.

Honestly, the base sketch didn’t turn out bad. What do you guys say? Also maybe add a girl riding it. It might spice up the imagination.

image.png

Ta-da! I sketched a girl who is riding a whale in the sky at night. Cool, huh? Now you guys might be thinking why the whale has a white inner base while the girl is transparent. That’s because I was curious about a tool called ‘outline’ which would color the inner part of any shape you draw or outline a shape. This tool really works up to its name but if you think of adding details in the shape then this tool is not a good idea. Therefore I decided to use just the normal pen tool.

image.png

I wish you guys could see my face because this is not exactly how I wanted it to turn out. I wanted the lower part of the whale stomach line to show up but after I colored them, they look faded and I can’t seem to figure out how. Also, I don’t remember exactly which tool I used to color the whale. It was frustrating because the tools are kind of confusing in how it works but, in the end, I got close to what I wanted so I am satisfied, you can say.

And here is where my patience has snapped. Therefore I gave up on the tools and decided to use the paint bucket instead to color her. Coloring her wasn't even a tiny bit of hassle.

image.png

Oh look guys my patience is back! So yes I love adding details to every little thing. The more details are the more satisfied I am and the more satisfied I am the happier I am which also means I become calmer and patient. So I guess I will be trying out the tools again.

image.png

Purr-fect! Now in this part, I found the perfect tool for the clouds. It’s called ‘clouds (real)’ and to use that tool you have to watch a little 30-second ad which will allow you to use all the wonderful tools for 18 hours straight.

This is where we are brought to the last part where I draw stars. To make this I used the ‘Sequin pen (star)’ tool to make it like that. The fantasy sky is nothing without the magical stars.

Well, guys, I hope you have enjoyed my post today and also my illustration. It’s the end here for today until the next post. Bye-bye for now and take care. See you guys soon.
