病不殺人, 藥不活人, (병은 결코 사람을 죽일 수 없고, 약은 결코 사람을 살릴 수 없다.)내 병은 내가 고친다.

3 년 전 온타리오(ONTARIO)주 수상 Dalton McGuinty 와 보수당 당수 John Tory 와 신민당 당수 Howard Hampton 의 소변 검사와 혈액 검사를 하여 신문 지상에 발표했었다.

그 결과 한 사람도 예외 없이 수은과 납과 비소(砒素 : As) 등을 비롯하여 40여 가지 인체에 해로운 물질이 들어 있었다.

Dalton McGuinty 수산(首相)은 41 가지, John Tory 는 44가지, Howard Hampton 은 42 가지의 독성물질을 각각 몸속에 지니고 있었다. 이중에는 살충제(Pesticide) 와 냉각제(Coolant) 와 윤활제(Lubricant) 와 테플론(Tefkon)과 같은 발암물질도 검출되었다.

온타리오 주수상 McGuinty 는 살충제가 몸속에 가장 많이 들어있었고 Hampton 은 PAH 와 Phthalate 가 가장 많이 들어 있었으며 John Tory 는 PCB 와 PFC 가 가장 많이 들어 있었다. 특히 McGuinty 수상과 Hampton 은 bisphenol A 를 가장 많이 포함하고 있었다.

PAH 는 다환성 방향족 탄화수소로써 벤조피렌과 크라이신과 벤조안스라신 등 30여 종의 화학물질이 여기에 속하며 그중 벤조피렌이 대표적이다. 벤조피렌은 특히 자동차의 배기 가스에 다량 포함되어 있으며 폐암과 림프암과 방광암 등을 유발시킨다.

Phthalate(프탈레이트)는 플라스틱을 부드럽게 해주고 투명하게 해주며 튼튼하게 해주는 화학첨가제이다.

PCB(Polychlorinated biphenyls)는 잔류성 유기 오염물질이다. PCB 가 인체내에 축적되면 식욕부진, 피로, 두통, 복통, 요통, 관절통, 사지부종, 월경이상, 성욕감퇴, 호흡기장애, 신경내분비장애 등이 발생한다.

PFC(Perfluorocarbons)는 탄화수소에서 파생된 탄화플루오르이다.

우리가 지구촌 어느 곳에 살든지? 우리가 어떤 생활을 하고 살든지? 우리가 무엇을 먹고 살든지? 우리가 늙었든지? 젊었든지? 우리의 지위가 높든지? 낮든지? 우리는 누구든지 인체에 해를 끼치는 오염 물질과 발암 물질에 오염 되어 있다. 우리 인체는 이와 같은 독성 물질에 대하여 각자의 면역기능에 따라 어느 정도 까지 만 내성(耐性)을 갖고 있다.

이와 같은 독성 발암 물질들은 인체에 부적합한 이물질들로써 20, 30 년 전만 해도 현재와 같이 수 천 가지에 이르지 않았다. 우리는 독성 물질을 흡수하지 말아야 되고 독성물질에 되도록 덜 접촉해야 되며 우리 인체내에 들어와 있는 독성물질을 배제해야 된다.

그러기 위해서는 첫째 유기농 식품을 되도록 섭취해야 된다. 둘째 플라스틱 제품으로 만든 용기를 덜 사용해야 된다. 셋째 페인트와 정정제와 세탁제 등을 되도록 친환경 제품으로 바꿔서 사용해야 된다. 다섯째 화장품도 천연 화장품을 사용해야 된다. 일곱째 살충제와 재초제도 친환경 제품을 사용해야 된다.

그 외에 인체내의 독소를 제거시키는데 원적외선을 사용하면 좋다. 국제조명(照明)위원회(International Commission on Illumination)에서는 적외선(Infrared)을 근적외선(700 nm–1400 nm 또는 0,7 µm – 1.4 µm), 중간적외선(1400 nm–3000 nm 또는 1.4 µm – 3 µm), 원적외선(3000 nm–1 mm 또는 3 µm – 1000 µm)) 등으로 구분해놓았다.

원적외선 에너지는 관절과 근육과 조직속으로 깊이 파고들어 산소의 유통을 원활하게 해주고 혈액순환을 양호하게 해준다.

그래서 원적외선 사우나를 하면 다음과 같은 효과가 있다.

첫째 현대인들의 스트레스를 경감시켜 준다.

둘째 현대인들은 일상 생활 중 공기와 물과 음식과 일상 생활용품으로 부터 수 천 가지의 화학물질과 접촉하며 살고 있다. 원적외선 사우나를 할때 인체내에 축적되어 있는 독소들이 땀과 함께 체외로 배설된다.

셋째 원적외선 사우나는 피부에 혈액순환을 양호하게 해줌과 동시에 땀을 흘리기 때문에 피부미용에 좋다.

넷째 원적외선 사우나를 할때 원적외선 에너지가 2 cm 내지 4 cm 정도 깊이 피부 속으로 뚫고 들어감으로 모세혈관이 팽창되어 근육통이 사라진다.

다섯째 심혈관 계통의 질병의 치료에 효과가 있으며 체중 감소에도 효과가 있다.

그래서 뉴욕에 있던 월드트레이드 센터(World Trade Centre : 세계무역센터) 가 무너질 때 진화작업을 했던 소방수들과 일꾼들에게 원적외선을 사용하여 괄목할 만한 치료효과를 나타냈다.

현재 다행히 온타리오주에서는 미관상 목적을 위해서 사용하는 살충제는 법으로 사용 금지되어 있다. 정부에서는 온타리오 주민들을 환경 오염으로 부터 해방시키고 독성 화학물질을 인체내에서 제거시키는 것에 특별히 신경을 쓰고 있다. 그래서 정부에서는 독성 화학물질을 줄이기 위한 엄한 법과 발암 물질을 경감시키기 위한 강력한 법을 마련하기에 바쁘다. 온타리오주는 북미에서 최초로 발암 물질과 환경을 오염시키는 독성 화학물질에 대하여 앞장서서 주민들을 계몽 시키는 주가 될 것이다.

PCBs (Polychlorinated biphenyls) are persistent organic pollutants. When the PCB is accumulated in the human body, anorexia, fatigue, headache, abdominal pain, back pain, arthralgia, limb swelling, menstrual abnormality, loss of libido, respiratory disorder, neuroendocrine disorder occur.

Perfluorocarbons (PFCs) are fluorocarbons derived from hydrocarbons.

Where do we live in our planet? What kind of life do we live in? What do we eat? Are we old? Was he young? Is our status high? Is it low? We are all polluted with contaminants and carcinogens that are harmful to human health. The human body has tolerance to such toxic substances to some degree according to their immune functions.

These toxic carcinogens are unsuitable for the human body and do not reach thousands of species 20 or 30 years ago. We should not absorb toxic substances, we should be less in contact with toxic substances, and we should exclude toxic substances that come into our bodies.
