소동파(苏东坡)와 맥문동음(麦门冬饮)

​맥문동(麦门冬)은 보음약(补阴藥) 중 상품약(上品藥)으로 들어간다. 익음양위(益阴养胃) 작용과 윤폐청심(润肺清心)의 공능(功能)이 있으므로 인건구갈(咽乾口渴)과 대변조결(大便燥结)과 심번실면(心烦失眠)과 심계도한(心悸盗汗) 등을 치료해 준다. 소량(少量)의 맥문동(麦门冬) 을 끓는 물속에 집어 넣어 두었다가 차(茶) 대신 하루에 한 컵 내지 두 컵을 마신다.
