구자화(狗仔花)와 소동파(苏东坡)

구자화(狗仔花)는 국화과식물(菊科植物) 일년생(一年生) 초본식물(草本植物) 함하화(咸虾花)이며미(味)는 신(辛)、미고(微苦)이고 성(性)은 평(平)이며 무독(无毒)하다. 청열이습(清热利湿) 작용과 산어소종(散瘀消肿)의 공효(功效)가 있다. 소동파(苏东坡)는 구자화에 관하여 잘 몰랐기 때문에 왕안석(王安石)의 시(诗)가 타당하지 않다고 비난했다.

북송(北宋) 재상(宰相) 왕안석(王安石)이 지은 시(詩) 속에 “明月枝头叫，黄狗卧花心”란 시구(诗句)가 있다.

​다시 말하면 ”명월(明月)은 나뭇가지에 앉아서 울고 있고 황구(누런개)는 꽃속에 누워 있구나!” 란 뜻이다.

​후에 북송(北宋) 문학가(文学家) 소동파(苏东坡)가 왕안석의 이 시(詩)를 읽고나서 틀렸다고 지적했다.

​“명월(明月:밝은 달)”이 어떻게 나뭇가지에 걸려 소리를 지른단 말인가? 또“황구(黄狗:누런개)”는 일반적으로 음량처(阴凉处)에 누워있는데 어찌하여 꽃속에 누워있단 말인가? 고 말하면서 타당하지 않다고 비난했다.

​그리고 나서 소동파는 왕안석의 시구를 다음과 같이 수정하였다. “明月当空照，黄狗卧花荫”

​다시 말하면 ”고요한 밤하늘에 밝은 달이 온 세상을 비추이고 황구는 꽃나무 아래에 누워있구나!” 란 뜻이다.

​구자화는 지금도 담주시(儋州市)에 있는 소동파(东坡) 서원(书院) 내(内)에서 자라고 있다.

​전설에 의하면 북송재상(北宋宰相) 왕안석(王安石)은 소동파를 비웃으며 "파공(坡公)의 견문(见闻)은 넓지 못하다."고 말했다.

소동파(苏东坡)는 왕안석(王安石)의 변법(变法)을 극구 반대하다가 광동성에 있는 담주(儋州)로 귀양을 가게 되었다.

​따뜻한 어느 봄날에 소동파는 홀로 성(城) 밖으로 나들이를 나갔다. 무의식(无意識) 중 일종(一种)의 기괴(奇怪)한 작은새(小鸟) 한 마리를 보았다. 소동파는 들에서 일하고 있는 농부(农夫)에게 “这是什么鸟呀!”라고 물었다.

​다시 말하면 ”저 새의 이름은 무엇입니까?” 란 뜻이다.

​농부(农夫)는 소동파에게 "这小鸟是叫明月鸟”라고 대답했다.

다시 말하면 "저 새의 이름은 ’명월조(明月鸟)’라고 부릅니다.”는 뜻이다.

​소동파는 수첩에 명월조(明月鸟)라고 기입해 두었다.

​소동파가 계속 거닐고 있었다. 소동파는 길가에서 생전 처음보는 자색(紫色) 꽃(花)을 피우고 있는 기괴한 식물 (植物)을 발견하였다.

​소동파는 길을 걸어가고 있는 농민(农民)에게 ：“这是什么花呢？”라고 물었다.

​농민(农民)은 소동파에게 ”저 꽃은 ”구자화(狗仔花)” 라고 칭합니다.” 고 대답하였다.

​소동파는 농민에게 “那花心中间的虫是什么虫呢？”라고 물었었다.

​다시 말하면 ”저 꽃의 한 중앙에 있는 곤충의 이름은 무엇입니까?” 고 물었다.

​농민(农民)은 소동파에게 ：“是黄狗虫，这虫常钻进花心里去睡觉的。”라고 대답하였다.

​다시 말하면 ”황구충이라고 칭하는데 저 벌레는 항상 화심(花心) 속에서 잠을 잡니다.” 는 뜻이다.

​소동파(苏东坡)는 농민의 말을 듣자마자 번개 처럼 머리속을 스쳐가는 명백(明白)한 생각이 있었다. 원래(原来) 왕안석(王安石)의 시구(诗句)는 틀린 것이 아니고 도리가 있다는 것을 깨달았다.

​소동파는 ”조사(调查)해 보지도 않고 또 연구해 보지도 않고 남의 시구가 틀렸다고 말한 나 자신이 부끄럽구나!” 고 뉘우쳤다.

구자화(狗仔花)의 키는 60cm 내지 100cm 이고 줄기는 곧으며 잎(叶)은 호생(互生)이고 담자색(淡紫色)의 꽃을 피운다. 논과 밭의 두둑이나 길가(路旁)의 초야(草野)에서 자란다. 꽃의 중앙에 5 마리의 개(犬)가 누워있는 형상인데 개의 머리와 몸둥이와 꼬리(尾)가 모두 구비되어 있는 희귀한 약초이다. 그래서 얻은 이름이 구자화이다. 구자화란? 개의 모양과 비슷한 꽃이란 의미를 내포하고 있다.

광동성(广东省)과 광서성(广西省) 민간(民间)에서 상용(常用)하는 긴요한 약초이다.
