I was really hoping to get my Robin Kings this week in the mail, but no luck. My LCS shop has really gone downhill since COVID hit and no longer puts issues out clearing USD 15 in value. I get it; cash is tight, and if it is easier to flip on eBay for x3 to x4 cover price rather than sell for cover to someone who doesn't have the books on a pull list, why not? I have missed out on multiple issues since Hell Arisen 3 at my LCS, wherein I'm the first person in the store, yet the issues are sold out. I get it... I won't judge. I'll pay the premium if I really want it (yes, Robin King, I'm looking at you...)
This week's adds were all Peach Momokos for me. I received Eule's Vision issues one and two thanks to the good folks at faeriemetal.com I love the purple hues in this art.
The next Peach piece is Sleeping Beauties 1 virgin. Based on the work of Stephen King, this one again is a purple hue beauty.
The next book is Warcorns 1. This one was limited to a print run of 100 copies, and I probably spent a bit more than I should have to get this one off of eBay. I'll blame the gin for that one, but I'm still loving this cover.
Last but not least is Horizon Zero Dawn 2. Again, another Peach Momoko with some a lot of color and activity going on. I love her art; it can be simplistic at times, and at other times full of life.
