Alright, the dust has settled, hype has moved on to something else, shelves have been restocked, additional copies circulated, and the secondary market’s comic book pump and dumps have dissipated. Let’s look at October 09, 2019 comic book releases and see if there is anything of value that I (or perhaps you) might be interested in purchasing for the long haul.
Cobra Kai Karate Kid Saga Continues 1 D Cover Kagan McLeod
This little nugget of a book is getting $38 USD currently; not many sales, but if you are a sucker for 1980’s retro films, this might be a good investment for your collection.
Future Fight Firsts White Fox D Cover Inhyuk Lee Virgin
You won the lottery that week if you got this cover cheap – the most recent sale for this book, raw, was $350 USD.
Web of Black Widow 2 C Cover Stephanie Hans
This 1:25 variant is pretty cool…and I do love the art of Hans. I might have to get this one for my daughter’s collection. It’s currently hovering around $20 USD in price.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Angel Hellmouth 1 Jenny Frison
Another 1:25 ratio floating around the $20-25 USD range. I’m not the world’s biggest Buffy fan, (I did appreciate the show, however), so I’ll pass on this one.
25
And that’s it, once more. Everything else from that week is available on line for cover price, ratio price, and a few dollars more here and there. I’m probably going to add that Stephanie Hans piece to my watchlist. Thanks as always for reading !
