Well friends, it's been fun getting to know Steemit, but I do believe I will give Hive a go starting tomorrow. I've missed the last two weeks with speculative comic purchases each Wednesday thanks in part to the is virus craze, but I plan to get back on track next week. It's been a rollercoaster of a life the past month, and I'm certain I've added a few gray hairs that didn't exist before, but it's life. And worth it, I dare say...
This week's adds really only are two books. The first is a Momoko:
That's a Red Sonja virgin variant I picked up earlier in the year. What a great looking book...the other one is much more disappointing:
I spent $35 damn USD on this one on eBay, fearing that I'd miss out on Punchline's first full appearance. Looks good, right? Wrong - look at this crap:
Damn it! The item was listed as NM, and was sold by a very reputable seller, but I got hosed on that one. Lesson learned (again) - don't chase books for more than cover price! I keep telling myself this, but I continue to not listen. Awful! Maybe it's the beer?
Anyway, I'll just have to find another copy if I really want this Punchline key; I hope to see everyone soon next week. I want to say I've really appreciated meeting fellow comic book fans on Steemit and I hope to keep up with the community going forward (and contributing whatever very minor content I can to the group).
