My entry of the #monomad challenge.
Meet the statue Lyra; originally installed outside of a Sears Department Store in 1980, the work of artist Bruce White now resides on the shores of the Mississippi River. It represents the constellation Lyra, discovered in the 2nd century by Ptolemy.
With thunderstorm clouds racing to the north and south of me after work, I figured it was as good as day as any to head to the river and snap some shots with my Pixel 5.
Until next time we meet, Lyra. And if you see this post, for whatever reason, Mr. White, rest assured your work is enjoyed every day.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my photography!
