My first thought on seeing this cluster of mushrooms was that they were part of the Upside Down World. Translucent and fringey existent on the veil, these didn't look quite real. They almost looked surreal, to be honest.
Being part of the upside down world, we did not take a taste. Stranger Things still being on the mind, I thought it better to only take photos to share.
If these things are worth $100USD/pound, please let me know, in the comments below!
Kidding aside, this fungi find was very interesting. There was almost like a slime/ooze on each one of these. I have no idea what they are, but I'm hoping the #fungifriday group can assist. Thanks!
