For this #beersaturday adventure, I headed out to a local super grocery store in the outskirts of town. The store is huge; the liquor store is larger than most grocery stores in town. They usually have a good selection of beer, but as they carry so much of it now, the freshness is always suspect. I rolled the dice with this one, and you know what? Not too bad!
Yet another hazy IPA winner from Wisconsin. I haven't visited Eagle Park yet, but hoping to later this summer to do some samples. All of their IPAs are quite delicious.
At 6.8% ABV, this one is a perfect session beer. The hops in this one are a little smokey, but hey, not overly bad. I'm going to give this one a 3.75 / 5.00 on Untappd...it's a good one, but I don't want to give it anything over 4.0.
With beer in hand, I finally got around to browsing this book tonight that I checked out at the library today.
We had a family trip to the public library today, and I stumbled across this book in the art section. I've always had a love for that time period of art when I took an art history class in college. There is just something about Dada and Bauhaus; surrealism and Kandinsky.
Who knows, paging through this might give me a few ideas for monomad and a pic a day. I'm all about beer tonight, but art might get a close second vote.
Thanks for stopping by for my beer Saturday share. Hoping everyone had a wonderful Saturday too!!
