My (belated) entry for the #beersaturday community, as hosted by detlev@detlev. This one wishes you all a very (belated) happy Halloween as well!

This past week Tuesday was indeed Halloween, and I knew I needed to grab a new four pack for my annual Halloween party. It's not much, but for the past decade or so, I always celebrate the holiday with a new beer and new ghost show on TV. I know, lame...but whatever.

Our Halloween trick or treats came through again...our daughter was dressed as Elsa, and a few pieces of candy made their way to her Halloween pail. It was a very cold Halloween here, with blizzard like conditions occuring earlier in the day. Fortunately, the candy and pepperoni pizza helped warm us up after the trick or treating.

I snagged her bag of Doritos, and had a glass of the Fangs Out.

The IPA was very good. Another solid outting from the North Dakota brewery, Drekker. They seem to have a ton of IPAs and sours hitting this market. As long as it is fresh, I will give it a go. This one was around 6.7% ABV, and featured another "tropical" hop bill to give it that tropical sensibility.

Yes, I survived the cold, and yes...that's me wearing about 8 layers to deal with the 30F temps in October. It's Wisconsin, after all...what can you do? And if you must know, I ended up watching Ghost Adventures Halloween night, and their encounter with some demon in the basement of the De Soto Hotel in El Paso. Quite the show!

Thanks for checking out my #beersaturday share! I hope everyone had a great Halloween as well!
