My (long time waiting) share for the #beersaturday community. It's been a bit!
Believe it or not, I've kept up the craft beer train over the past few weeks, but honestly, I have been exhausted with work come the weekends to post. As some of you may know, I recently left another bad, toxic environment job for something new...and so far, so good. I don't want to jinx it, but after two weeks of the new place, I'm feeling...ok? So hey, why not share a beer I picked up after buying some new safety boots for the new job? And there it is...Brewing Projekt's Dare Mighy Things.
Another New England style Hazy IPA, this one sits at 6.4% and is very tropical in taste. I'm typically not the biggest fruity IPA fan, but this one tasted pretty good. I mean, for a 12 pack costing me $25 USD, it better!
Brewed in nearby Eau Claire, Wisconsin, this IPA features Amarillo, Citra, El Dorado, and Mosiac hops, and the hop profile is all over the place. Very tasty, and the nice alcohol warms one up (at least it did me.). Hey, after dropping over $250 USD on some Red Wing metatarsal boots, why not go all in with some good beer?
I did have a pair of comfy Red Wing steel toes from the previous job, but the new job at the foundry meant even more secure boots. So metatarsal it is.
These are a bit stiff, but I think they'll break in fine. I'd recommend the brand if you are need of some decent stell toes...on to new things, yeah?
Also, a beer selfie to prove I'm hopefully back. Thanks for chekcing out my share , and I hope everyone had wonderful weekend as well!
