For this week's #sublimesunday, as inspired by c0ff33a@c0ff33a, we hopped in the car for a trip to the local praire for a Sunday morning hike. All feeling much better after whatever stomach bug rolled through the area this past week, we definitely some fresh air. What better place to get some air than the local praire?

I've been able to keep the 30 day no alcohol cleanse and was feeling pretty good until the bug blew through our house last week Thursday. I hadn't been able to keep up with my Actifit goals the past few days, but somehow managed to lose a few pounds anyway. Thanks virus...much appreciated!

And to get out of the house today...what a treat. The weather is beautiful here today. Mid 50Fs with no wind; blue skies and the March sun high above. I know we're not out of winter yet, but with all of the birds and budding life about, spring is most certainly on the way.

Of course, there were no wildflowers yet, but in a few weeks, the green will return. I have the new Canon T7 ready to go for this spring's hunt for wildflowers. Our daughter is already excited to go on hikes for the flowers...I might get her a little point-and-shoot camera this spring that she can use to get into the hobby too.

Stay tuned! There will definitely be wildflowers and Driftless nature shots coming in the next few weeks. I have a couple of new spots to check out this year too; I can't wait!

Until next Sunday, I hope everyone out there had a wonderful (and more healthy than me) weekend too!
