Last weekend I mentioned about my staycation experience at Kempinski, here in Muscat. The stay was fully sponsored and we had a very good time. When life gives freebies, make the most of it. During the day we spent our time by the pool and relaxed for some time in the room. Later in the evening, me and hubby went to the beach. The hotel is beach front, so there is direct access to the beach. It's not a private beach though, but it's very clean and not much crowded.
This hotel is located in a township, so the beach does not have access to everyone, but the people who live in that township do have access to it, hence the crowd is comparatively lesser than the other city's beaches. It's a beautiful property, architecturally very well created. Looking at it, you feel it's all about luxury and nothing else.
We got a free stay here, but the good part about some of these hotels and resorts in Muscat is that during summer they come up with some very good offers for staycations. Even big places like these roll out good offers and they are worth grabbing. Me and hubby normally take these offers and visit these places often. I feel, why not, if I get to enjoy this luxury at less than half the price of its normal value then I should.
