one of my cousin student of art school. She gain many prizes by attending many art competitions. It glorified his student life a she also got a brilliant result in Secondary school exam. Co-curricular activities outside the textbook are also very important in the field of education. In the current competitive world, acquiring only textbook knowledge is not enough; rather, co-curricular activities are essential for the all-round development of a student. When school children participate in activities such as sports, drawing, debating or reciting in addition to the curriculum, their talent develops in a multidimensional way.
Co-curricular activities teach students to think creatively. For example, drawing expands their imagination and aesthetic sense, and recitation or debating removes their confidence and speech inertia. On the other hand, sports teach teamwork, discipline, and the ability to persevere in adverse situations. Such activities help activate the complex neural connections of the brain of students, which in turn increases their analytical skills and intellectual abilities.
Most importantly, these activities relieve children from boredom and increase their interest in going to school. This keeps their minds fresh, which helps them to focus more on their core studies. Finally, it can be said that there is no alternative to creative and sports activities along with studies to create healthy, fresh and talented future generations. Therefore, the inclusion of such activities at every level of education is very timely and necessary.
