St. Patrick's day @ Robsons Brewery.
On 17 March, my wife and I was still on our short brake in Ballito. We went to have something to eat and drink at Robson Brewery in Ballito.
For the day, they had a lot of green colouring going around. Some green shaded lighting and the waiters had green hats on in celebration of St. Patrick's day.
I decided to try the East Coast ale for starters, after all we were on vacation on the East Coast of South Africa. I liked the beer, but as usual, I did not get the hint of Litchi - I never do!!
The beer really looked good in the glass, with a nice golden colour and a medium head on top.
My wife had a cocktail, of which I forgot the name, but the two of us enjoyed our time spent together.
I did not go with the pairing suggestion, of a chicken burger, on the menu, but rather opted for some ribs and chips!!
After the food, I decided to go with their St. Patricks beer, which was in fact a Skhokho Lager, with some green colouring in.
I must say the green beer did look like a soft drink, but it tasted like a proper beer and was quite enjoyable!!
Later on in the evening they had some live entertainment, to........ keep us entertained!! We spoke to Rene, he is actually from the Congo and making a living in South Africa, through his music.
We had a great time at Robsons Brewery, enjoying our time together, with good food and great music!!
I hope you enjoyed the post and hope you have a wonderful day!!
