I'm pretty sure real beer drinkers don't need a call to #beersaturday to grab some beer.
Although the invitation for the Sunday contest was missing, reading @zekepickleman post about beer, I remembered that the one who should invite us to that contest is driving quads on the sands of the Sahara, and is on a well-deserved vacation, so we'll still have to wait for the invitation in 473 weeks.
And here in Europe, although far from the Sahara, we have real desert temperatures, and a cold beer is a great solution for a quick refreshment.
Wandering through the streets of Timisoara on a warm summer day, I saw an umbrella, which reminded me "Drink a beer, refresh yourself".
I stopped at a pub, next to the door that said Biblioteka(Library).
I read somewhere that it was a bar, a pioneer of craft beer from Timișoara, however, the door was closed, and beer could only be drunk from the refrigerator, their taps had run dry (that part of the bar is being renovated).
With great difficulty I chose two cans of HopHooligans (which I will taste at home), and I asked the seller where I could drink craft beer from the tap.
He directed me 200m further to the Beretta pub, which I passed several times, but which I did not notice because the building was under scaffolding, they were building a facade.
I went into Bereta pub and tried their two craft beers on the recommendation of the bartender.
I poured small 0.2l bottles because I had to drive (a bigger challenge, wherever I happen to be...).
I asked her to recommend an extra hopped beer, as well as one with added fruit, and I think I tasted Beretta Alfa overload, Heavily Hopped Double IPA with 7.8% alcohol in the left glass, while in the right glass, it was reddish in color, more sour, fruit-flavored beer.
We probably didn't understand each other very well, because I was looking for Beretta products, and I got a beer from a guest tap, probably Deliri, fruity sour, because I smelled raspberry in the glass.
In any case, without overanalyzing, I can say that both beers were very refreshing, the color in the glass was very interesting and I'm glad I found this pub.
For the two cans I bought, there will be a subsequent, slightly more detailed analysis, as soon as I taste them.
Maybe I'll wait for the call for #beersaturday, and maybe even sooner, especially if the heat waves continue, so I'll need a refresher.
