My previous post was titled Beersaturday: Craft Beer in Paris, today I am having Breakfast in Paris. If your read my previous post, you will know that this Paris is actually Parys in South Africa, far from the much more well known Paris in France!!
My wife and I were on our way to the coast, but decided to have a few stop overs on our journey to the coast. We wanted to see more towns, as normally we just pass them on our way to the coast. We also did not take the shortest route as we wanted to go to different places than what we do normally.
We found a very nice restaurant, with a large outside area, on the banks of the Vaal River. The Vaal river is the 3rd largest river in South Africa and was in flood as we had some good rains. The tables were set under some nice large trees, providing lots of shade, which was not really needed early in the morning as it was quite cool outside.
We enjoyed our breakfast of Eggs, Bacon and toasted home made bread a lot!! The breakfast gave us the much needed fuel for the next leg of our trip, which would lead us to Kimberley.
I hope you liked the post as much as I liked writing it.
I hope you have a wonderful day!!
