As you know by now, I was on a short lived vacation, which was abruptly ended by the South African lock-down due to the Corona Virus!! Before my holiday came to an end they also decided to close the beaches for swimming, in the interest of social distancing. So if I had to be anti social, what could be better than reading an old classic Wilbur Smith book, which I bought at a second hand book shop, while sipping an ICE COLD Beer vith a view of the ocean in front of me??
I could not think of anything better, so that is exactly what I have done!!
The ICE COLD BEER in question was a Boondog Saints which came in a 440ml bottle with an alcohol percentage of 5%. Just look at that beautiful condensation on the bottle!!
The beer is a South Coast Pale Ale, which they say is bursting with hop flavors and aromas!!
The beer poured with a beautiful yellow color and a great, dense white head!!
Although I did not get all that hops flavors and aromas, the beer was a good drinkable beer, which I liked!! Great to drink on a hot summers day, while sitting and looking over the sea!!
