Daily Scripture
Today I would like to look at 1 Peter 2 verse 4 to 6
4)As you come to Him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to Him
5)you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6)For in Scripture it says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion,
a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in Him
will never be put to shame.”
Jesus Christ was rejected by the people, but God chose Him and gave Him a place of Honor in our spiritual home, namely the corner stone. When we believe in Jesus Christ we become living stones in His house. We together with other believers and Jesus Christ as cornerstone are the spiritual home, we cannot do it on our own. We can only be saved when we build our spiritual home on the cornerstone, Jesus Christ.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
May God Bless you.
