We have to worship only God alone who created us. Jesus Christ is the only son of God who came to die for our sins, in that case Jesus Christ is the same as God and He deserves our worship. True worship should therefore be directed to Christ with sincere faith, love, obedience, and reverence.
If we worship Jesus Christ it means we are respecting him and putting him first in our life which is far better than going to church everyday. We honor Him by trusting His word, following His teachings, loving others, and living in a way that pleases God. Our worship should come from a genuine heart rather than mere outward religious practices.
As a good christian we should not make the mistake of worshipping Idols or things that are created by man. Jesus calls His followers to remain faithful to Him alone. When we worship the Lord Jesus Christ with our whole hearts and submit our lives to Him, we acknowledge His authority and express our love and devotion to Him.
