I always like to try easy recipes with ingredients I can find around my kitchen and this time I tried making cinnamon Christmas trees with puff pastry!!

All I needed was two sheets of puff pastry, one egg, sugar and cinnamon. I laid my pastry on the table, gave my egg a very good whisking and brushed it over the pastry. Then, I sprinkled a mix of cinnamon and sugar over it, cut in strips of a width no more than 1,5 to 2 cm and folded them in Christmas tree shapes that I fixed on skewer sticks. I brushed some more egg on top and sprinkled a little more of the cinnamon and sugar mix and baked for about 20-30 minutes until they got a beautiful golden color.

They were meant to be gifted as a New Year's treat to our families.

Of course we had some at home, but most of them were shared with Trumpman's family and mine.
