Morning Long Run

I just finished a 18.821km running that lasted about 1hh:44mm:47ss !

Don't worry, I'll stop early to get coffee.

We have made our way to the south of New Zealand to visit family over the Christmas break. The weather has turned pretty poor across the country for the past few days and we thought we would struggle to fit in our running while we were away. The weather has finned up a little though and even though it was cool, it was nice and still and sunny.

@run.kirsty.run had a 2 hour and 15 minute run planned for the day. I was not sure I was feeling that good but decided I would commit to at least a most of it. We decided to run from the town of Roxborough to the dam(pictured) and then back to town via the river trails. Hardly anyone around so it was a nice time to be out.

I decided 18km was enough for me and stopped 30 minutes early where Kirsty kicked on for another 6 kms.
