In life, we all have that moment or time when it seems things are going to end up pretty badly for us. It's now left for us to find a way to reshape our reality.
This brought about the story of a girl named Tessa. I hope you enjoy it.
Tessa was born into an average family. She is the first daughter of a family with three children. They didn't have much but her mum always made sure they didn't lack the basic things they needed. They seem to be living fine until the unexpected happened.
Tessa's father takes care of them but one thing she doesn't like about him is the fact that he is a cheat. Tessa knew that her father had numerous mistresses and he did not care about her mother's feelings. Her mother loved her father so much that it hurts to see everything she's going through.
One day, she was in the kitchen washing the dishes when she heard some sniffing and a sound that someone was crying. She stopped what she was doing and went towards the sound and the sight before her broke he heart as she met her mother in a pool of tears.
"Mum, are you okay?", She asked her. "I am fine", her mum replied her. "You don't look fine mum, talk to me", she said while sitting on the bed with her mum, worried that something terrible must have happened.
Indeed, something terrible did happen as her mother went on to tell her about her father's decision to take a new wife which means her parent's marriage is going to end.
Tessa knew that their marriage was not rosy which was mostly her father's fault but she thought maybe they would both work things out in the end but It seems she won't be getting her wish.
Her mother was falling apart in her presence and she knew it was her turn to be strong for her mother. She held Mum's hands and assured her that everything would be alright.
From that day, she knew she had to take care of her younger ones to give her mum the time to heal. After some time her mum began to feel lively again and manage some smiles here and there.
As they all sat in the dining room about to eat the delicious meal Tessa had prepared. Her mum looked into her eyes and held her hands, she thanked her for being strong when she was down.
Tessa knew that her mum was a strong woman and even though she doesn't know what the future holds, one thing she is sure of is that they would always pull through as long as they have each other.
