During my stay in Colombia, entering an oca帽era restaurant, I discovered the Arepa Burger, a combination of the traditional Arepa of pre-cooked corn flour and the Anglo-Saxon hamburger. In this case the Arepa comes stuffed with beef (prepared hamburger type), chicken breast, pork ham, cheese, lettuce, onion, ketchup tomato sauce and mayonnaise. A true delight of South American cuisine. All for the modest sum of 7,000 Colombian pesos. And to accompany our Arepa Burger: an apple-flavored soft drink.
