In this recipe you will be shown how to make a delicious sweet bread based on Papelon, very easy to make and with very accessible ingredients that do not represent a high cost.
1. In a large bowl, place the flour, yeast and sugar.
2. Add the warm milk and stir with a large spoon; once the milk is incorporated, add the water until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Leave to sit for 10 minutes.
3. Remove the mixture from the container and take it to a table or surface where you can knead.
4. Add the minnow, the salt and the 3 eggs, to knead for 10-15 minutes until obtaining a fairly firm consistency. After this, let the dough rise in a cool place at least until it doubles in size, approximately 45-60 minutes.
5. Once the consistency of the dough is obtained, with the help of a roller, roll the dough to obtain a round or square shape.
6. And to stretch the dough, distribute the paper and the sweet anise in the extended area of the dough evenly. To then roll the dough and be able to shape the sweet bread.
7. Once rolled and obtained the shape of the bread, with a sharp knife we cut into equal and proportional parts, and then take it to the tray.
8. Already chopped and placed on a previously oiled or floured tray, take to the oven (previously lit 10 minutes before) for 20-25 minutes at 160-180 degrees centigrade.
9. Remove from the oven Sprinkle the grated cheese to your quantity and personal preference and eat hot or let it rest.
