With chaos in his bosom
He sows fire into my flesh
Thinking that he is hurting me
More than he hurts himself

I try to smack the fire out
But I see a better way
I let it burn until
He has nothing to burn

Will he wake up before
His guilt resumes the tear harvest?
Will he grow up
So he can talk about his fears?

As the world goes
We grow to be the sum
Of every part

He and I have been one from the start.
