POEM: FULL OF FANTASY

Peeling the air
For cup inclined consumption
In the wind
With a silent cubed luncheon

Full of fantasy
Walking on a thread
Of transparency
Within airy bread

Dissolved by heat
Wisps of waves
Black curtains shut
For a vacant display

The stroke of midnight
Eyes drawn for the film
The caress of a reverie
Betting life on a whim

She said danger was
When we lock reality out
She was no stranger
To life's rhythmic droughts

But she locked herself in
A mental vice visual
And tuned out
Business as usual
