Bitcoin (BTC) had a great start to the new week and managed to break the $70,000 resistance, which also means that it left the correction behind and broke the downtrend. With the wind of the halving behind it, Bitcoin may exceed $ 200,000 within a year, so how?
Bitcoin (BTC) Daily Chart
Bitcoin (BTC) is currently trading at $71,620. Bitcoin, which started the new week in the green zone, appears to have increased by approximately 2.4% on a daily basis and approximately 4.5% on a weekly basis.
After a short correction, Bitcoin, with the wind of the halving behind it, quickly recovered and gained upward momentum. The Bitcoin halving will take place approximately on April 20, and this will be the 4th halving in its history. Let's take a look at the halving chart.
Bitcoin (BTC) halving progress
When we look at Bitcoin prices before, during and after the halving, it is clear that Bitcoin has risen significantly within a year, especially after the halving. And if the halving cycle is not broken, Bitcoin could rise by more than 200% within a year after the halving, which means Bitcoin could surpass $200,000 before April 2025. Although this may sound crazy, when we look at the halving chart of Bitcoin, it seems that it is not difficult to surpass $ 200,000. In fact, the path to $200,000 is not as crazy as the path that took Bitcoin, which traded at around $12 during the first halving, to reach $949 within a year. Bitcoin appears to have increased by approximately 7,808% in the year following the first halving.
If the halving cycle is not disrupted, it does not seem crazy for Bitcoin to surpass $ 200,000. In fact, according to the halving cycle, $ 200,000 is the minimum level, which means it can even move higher. We'll wait and see.
