I just finished a 13.272km running that lasted about 1hh:3mm:42ss !
-3C out there tonight! A chilly 13k in the dark. The route was well gritted and therefore not slippy; and it was cold enough to make you want to move a little faster than usual. Trying to work on things like picking my legs up a little faster and using both legs equal amounts. Road running is faster and makes it easier to work on technique whereas you just try to not trip up a lot of the time when running trails or cross country.
Still doing leg stretches after my runs and calf strengthening exercises 1-2 times a day to attempt to keep the injuries away.
Planned 20+ miles on Saturday 馃槵 but woke up today feeling a little ropey. Fingers crossed it鈥檚 short lived!
