I just finished a 24.114km cycling that lasted about 1hh:21mm:32ss !
I got my new road bike about 4 weeks ago and was yet to take it out on the actual road! Instead opting to have it set up on the turbo trainer in the house.
Well today I had a rare child-free day off from work and my friend who is a triathlon coach reckoned it was about time I wore my wheels in a little.
We waited until the afternoon so that the frost had had a chance to melt and then did 15miles of village hopping close to the vale of belvoir. It was a lovely sunny day and it felt great to be out on the road, even if we were frequently dodging pot holes and dodgy drivers :)
