In graduate school I took a class on graph theory and networks. Afterwards, while casually google searching sacred geometry, I kept coming across the following image:
I thought that this symbol would make an interesting network or graph to analyze. I still have yet to do anything original as far as research goes, but it turns out that this symbol may have potential to be of scientific significance. According to Eduard Shyfrin in his book From Infinity to Man, this symbol represents a "vessel" filled with light and can be allegorically attributed to the soul of a conscious unit. One of things that I like about this concept is that is resonates with concepts from quantum physics (which is actually one of the main themes of Shyfrin's book). Perhaps later I will make some posts pertaining strictly to basic graph theory and quantum mechanics. If you want to check out Shyfrin's book, I will also provide a link and citation at the end of this post. On that note, here is a list of the meaning of each of the 10 sefirah (or, as we would say in graph theory, nodes) that comprise what is called the tree of the sefirot.
