What if infinity is not actually something that never ends? What if infinity can be guessed? Sometimes we almost—I mean almost—get very close to a result, and you don't actually get it because it keeps on reoccurring. Just like in some exams where the pass mark is actually 70, and a candidate ends up getting 69.9999999, and you realize that these 9s are not ending but keep reoccurring and reoccurring.
Hmm! That's a lot, right? But we shouldn't give up right there. I think infinity is actually something that is closer than we think, because if it weren't, we wouldn't always have to estimate it.
More so, I think infinity is worth nothing because it is something that has no end. Just think of it as a life that keeps occurring without ending. More so, why would one over infinity be undefined?
However, it turns out that infinity in mathematics is unbounded. That is, it has no limit and is not actually a loop that one can break out of.
But loop and infinity sound similar. One can estimate infinity as something that lasts forever. However, a loop can be finite or infinite. In computing, for instance, we have finite and infinite loops. An infinite loop has reoccurring code.
More so, the universe is perceived as infinite… not ending. Continuous. Day and night are infinite. You see, infinity is just like living in a loop. What if you change your lifestyle? It doesn't change the universe.
Infinity in a finite distance is crazy. You don't have to remove the last n. Just move the first to the next and add 1 to the first position.
Let's think of something: 1/0 is infinity, right? Therefore, infinity times one is supposed to be one… right? Nah… it is not.
Infinity can't be estimated. In fact, this whole blog post about infinity almost looks like someone trying to crack a piece of God's code for this life, which I think, as of now, is impossible unless God allows it.
Thank you, Lord, for every single day of my life.
