Hello, Splinterlands warriors! Welcome back to another action-packed battle story filled with drama, surprises, and a sprinkle of my signature luck. This time, I tested the newest exclusive card—the dual-element fighter ready to leave opponents scrambling: Kelan Gaines!
As a player who loves the Death and Dragon elements, this card instantly grabbed my attention. Check out its abilities in the image below!
With Double Strike as its max-level ability, Kelan Gaines delivers devastating attacks. Add to that its superior speed and magic combat prowess, and you’ve got a monster that’s tough to counter. Its ability to dodge magic attacks makes it a nightmare for opponents. Trust me, leveling this card up to max (level 8) is totally worth it.
Plus, Kelan Gaines can be obtained through voucher exchanges—and luckily, I still had some staked SPS saved up. Why not unleash this beast?
The battle featured the Wands Out and Born Again rulesets, both guaranteeing chaos.
I picked Thaddius Brood as my summoner to weaken the enemy’s magic attacks. My lineup included:
The opponent brought a Water team, including the infamous River Hellondale—a monster notorious for its Resurrection ability. My priority? Take it out fast.
Round 1: Kelan Gaines blasted River Hellondale, aiming to prevent its revival shenanigans. But surprise—my Dark Arborist fell first! Thankfully, Born Again revived it for Round 2.
Chaos erupted when the enemy’s Shock Trooper triggered Electrified, which backfired spectacularly. Every round ended with their own team eating extra damage. Karma’s a blast, huh?
The real threat was Djinn Oshannus: high speed, magic damage reduction—a nightmare. But with Kelan’s Double Strike and Arachne’s healing, we chipped away until the enemy team crumbled. Victory!
