Hello Splinterlands warriors,
sometimes the arena feels like life: the strongest doesn’t always win, but the one who endures the longest survives. And in this battle, I truly felt that.
The fight I’m discussing this time uses two rulesets that, honestly, can make you frown a bit:
What does that mean?
No expensive, bulky tanks. No big monsters you usually rely on. Everything is forced to “live simply”—and slowly die from poison.
That’s when one name immediately came to mind: Ujurak Brave.
Ujurak Brave isn’t flashy at first glance. But once you understand how to use him, he’s like a patient chess player—quiet, but decisive.
His abilities:
In a battle dominated by magic and constant poison, he’s like the only one who doesn’t panic.
I didn’t place Ujurak in the front. Instead, I kept him in the middle—like a secret that shouldn’t be revealed too soon.
My lineup looked roughly like this:
The strategy was simple:
let the others “go down first,” and let Ujurak finish the story.
Interestingly, my opponent used a similar setup:
But there was one thing they forgot… Void.
In a magic-heavy battle like this, not having Void is like walking in the rain without an umbrella. You will get soaked.
I also brought an archon that reduces 2 HP from enemies.
And somehow, that choice felt just right:
This small difference turned into a big advantage in the end.
Round after round went by.
One by one, monsters fell—not from attacks, but from poison.
And that’s where the real drama began.
As everything started to collapse, only a few remained.
And just as I planned…
my Ujurak Brave was still standing.
No poison.
Silence still active.
And the opponent? Slowly fading from poison they couldn’t avoid.
At that point, I didn’t need to attack aggressively.
Just hold on… and win.

This battle gave me a few subtle “wake-up calls”:
And most importantly:
hiding your key card can be more effective than showing it upfront.
This battle wasn’t about who was the strongest.
It was about who was best prepared for harsh conditions.
And this time, I was lucky enough to be the last one standing.
