There are days when you wake up wanting to board a plane or a helicopter and travel to other latitudes.

Suddenly, you truly wake up and realize that the planes and helicopters you can access are merely decorative figures along the path—and you decide not to let that stop you.

You decide to let your steps take you somewhere. Without a second thought, you find yourself at a recreation center offering a variety of activities, and you let time slip by without worrying about its passing. That is how we arrived at Somos Jóvenes, a recreation center in Santa Clara, right in the heart of Cuba.

It is a vast place where many families, couples, and individuals—visiting independently—cross paths, all drawn to the destination yet seeking to enjoy the diverse range of options available there.

Outdoor barbecue areas, game rooms, nightclubs, a small pool, a pizzeria... Everything just a few steps away.

The warm weather invites you to enjoy refreshing drinks—and, of course, beer is a must—as you look forward to tasting exquisite pizzas served on an impressive slab of wood acting as a platter or base, lending a unique character to the restaurant's service.

The quality of the service, in all its variety, is worthy of praise, as is the design of the various spaces—perfectly suited for families to enjoy quality time together.

With all these options, time slips away before you realize it, and you find yourself wanting to come back another day. Who knows if we actually will.

Hay días en que uno despierta con deseos de montar un avión o un helicóptero para viajar a otras latitudes.

De pronto terminas de despertar realmente y te das cuenta que los aviones y helicópteros a los que puedes acceder son solo simples figuras decorativas del camino y decides entonces que eso no te detenga.

Decides que tus pasos te lleven a algún lugar. Y sin pensarlo, de pronto te encuentras en un centro recreativo donde las ofertas son diversas y permites que el tiempo transcurra sin preocuparte por su paso. Es así que arribamos al Somos Jóvenes, Centro Recreativo de Santa Clara, en el mismo centro de Cuba.

Es un lugar inmenso, donde muchas familias, parejas, o simplemente personas a solas, resultan visitantes que coinciden en el destino, aunque con finalidades de disfrutar opciones diferentes que son posibles encontrar acá.

Parrilladas al aire libre, salones de juego, discotecas, una pequeña piscina, una pizzería... Todo al alcance de pocos pasos.

El calor invita a consumir bebidas refrescantes y por supuesto la cerveza no puede faltar en lo que uno espera degustar las exquisitas pizzas servidas sobre un imponente trozo de madera a modo de plato o soporte que infunde un carácter único al restaurante en su servicio.

La calidad del servicio, en su diversidad, es merecedor de elogios, al igual que la manera en que están concebidos los diferentes espacios idóneos para que, si fuese el caso, las familias puedan disfrutar de tiempo de calidad en comunión.
